Negro Detroit City

You know it just stick in your mind,when people demoralize your community,and don't read the History of Blacks in Detroit,how back in the day we had businesses and we were beautiful smart talented people.We worked and took care of our families,,had a lot of black schools and entertainment galore!I am just going to mention some of them like the Flame Show bar,20 Grand,Old Willis bar,Phelp's Lounge,Watts Mozambique,Baker's Keyboard Lounge,Millie's Cocktail Lounge,Henry's Cocktail Lounge,Mr. Kelly's,Dummy George,Ben High Chaparral,Olympia Arena,and most of all Barry Gordy's Motown,Edge waterpark,Belle Isle,and many,many more.Now this is why we feel hurt to see how the state and local government let the black community down,and let other ethnic groups take over every corner in Our city.With out the high tax base in the past,that the Black people paid into,there would be no Detroit!!!!!
