Democratic/Republican gangsters

Why is the Democratic and Republican gangsters allowing their gang leader to shut down our government,are they afraid of him?Can't the federal employee's see that this is cutting off their pay checks so they want be able to feed their families,is it worth the sacrifice!If this was overseas,they would be rioting!
